Jim Brogan, President and Founder
Jim Kraeske began his financial services career in 2006 with a move to Knoxville from Nashville. He joined Brogan Financial in the spring of 2009 as an Investment Advisor Representative.
Jim holds the Certified Income Specialist designation (CIS) from the Institute of Business and Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee and is a former small business owner.
Originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, Jim resides in Oak Ridge with his wife Angie and children Emily and Natalie. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and exploring the beauty of East Tennessee with his family.

Lance Treat joined the Brogan Financial Team in 2011 and serves as an Investment Advisor Representative.
Lance holds his Master’s Degree in Finance (MBA) from The University of Tennessee. He also holds the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designation (AWMA) from the College for Financial Planning and has worked in corporate finance for more than 10 years in various management positions in Alabama and Tennessee. Lance also proudly served six years in the military on a nuclear submarine.
Lance resides in Maryville with his wife Micah, who is a registered nurse with Children’s Hospital, and their son Andrew. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and working in the yard.
Jamie L. Scott, Operations ManagerJamie joined the Brogan Financial Team in 2010 and serves as Operations Manager for the firm.
She began her career in the financial services industry in 1996 as a file clerk, transitioning through the years to compliance/office manager with a firm in Chattanooga where she obtained her Series 7, 63 and 24 security licenses. She also spent four years working for a broker/dealer firm in Atlanta, GA in their operations department.
Jamie grew up in South Alabama and has spent the majority of the past 14 years in Chattanooga. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling to warm, sunny beaches. She currently resides in West Knoxville with her husband Curtis, who is a firefighter with the City of Knoxville, and their daughters Courtney Michelle and Isabella Grace.
Brooks A. Brown, Director of Marketing and Public RelationsBrooks Brown joined the Brogan Financial team in 2010 and currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. He is responsible for overseeing and executing the team’s marketing and public relations functions.
Brooks began his career in marketing as the director of marketing and public relations for Claris Networks in 2004. He is credited as a key individual responsible for Claris’ growth and position as the leader in information technology solutions throughout East Tennessee. He is widely respected for his knowledge of brand identity, media relations and event planning. Most recently, Brooks operated his own consulting business, Shout Out Inc.
Brooks majored in political science at The University of Tennessee and also served as editor-in-chief of the University’s newspaper, The Daily Beacon. He and his wife Katherine live in West Knoxville. He enjoys carpentry, working in the garden, writing, playing guitar, and time spent outdoors.

Audrea Matherly began her career in the financial services industry in 1997 and came to Brogan Financial in 2006. As a Client Service Associate, she processes and tracks all business, often works directly with clients, and provides a broad range of support to financial advisors.
Audrea graduated from nursing school, and has lived all over the country as the wife of a retired Army First Sergeant. Her son Philip is currently serving in the Army on a combat trauma team.
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Audrea lives in Knoxville with her husband Jeff and their dog Changis. She is involved at Temple Baptist Church and enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, singing, and swimming.

Jan Padgett joined the Brogan Financial team in 2011 and serves as an administrative assistant.
Prior to moving to Knoxville, Jan resided in the Tri-Cities area of East Tennessee where she attended East Tennessee State University and worked as a paralegal in a small law firm.
In 2006, Jan relocated to Knoxville and worked as assistant to the president of a local visual media company.
In her spare time, Jan enjoys decorating and spending her free time with her two daughters, Kelsey and Laurel.
